OBJETIVOS

In this course the learner is provided with extensive practice in the sales and marketing area of business English. Students learn to negotiate, give presentations referring to charts and graphs, deal with clients as well as to analyze data and the language of business press. The various lexical fields are presented through freer practice in simulations, telephone calls and general conversation; encouraging the student to draw from personal experience to give meaningful and contextual practice. Simple and more complex grammar structures such as modal verbs to speculate and other expressions used for suggestions are also presented in this course. Throughout the course the emphasis is on the learner independence through exposure to the correct usage of the target language with attention to practical situations and the use of idioms and phrasal verbs. In addition the student learns vocabulary related to trade fairs and marketing campaigns as well as vocabulary related to the area of Internet advertising and the language of market campaigning in context to describe the effects of new technology on different Medias such as television, radio or the Internet.

METODOLOGIA
  • Total libertad de horarios para realizar el curso desde cualquier ordenador con conexión a Internet, sin importar el sitio desde el que lo haga. Puede comenzar la sesión en el momento del día que le sea más conveniente y dedicar el tiempo de estudio que estime más oportuno.
  • En todo momento contará con un el asesoramiento de un tutor personalizado que le guiará en su proceso de aprendizaje, ayudándole a conseguir los objetivos establecidos.
  • Hacer para aprender, el alumno no debe ser pasivo respecto al material suministrado sino que debe participar, elaborando soluciones para los ejercicios propuestos e interactuando, de forma controlada, con el resto de usuarios.
  • El aprendizaje se realiza de una manera amena y distendida. Para ello el tutor se comunica con su alumno y lo motiva a participar activamente en su proceso formativo.
